Hi friends!
After some thought, I’ve decided to consolidate a lot of my blogs and other things into one singular blog. I need to sift through some of my old posts here and save items like my Half-IM blog, but from here on out I will be posting all things game, fitness and design over at Dungeons and Deadlifts.
You guys are all awesome <3 Thanks for inspiring me!
My body remembers how to do this. My endurance remembers. My body hates me though, no big.
This song was in my brain the ENTIRE TIME. So much that I sang it underwater the last lap.
Pretty Mellow song to run to. But still pretty jammin. Saw them open for No Doubt.
Don’t Gotta Work It Out by Fitz and the Tantrums
This is the only Taylor Swift song I’ve ever listened the entire way through - but it’s catchy and I definitely added this to my run/workout lists.
FYI: Just go 2min in to get to the actual song.
I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift
I actually heard about this song from a link someone sent me for a cover done by Walk Off the Earth.
I’ve rediscovered today that preparing the night before a running race is still, and always will be, 1000x easier than preparing the night before a triathlon.
So easy that my paranoid mind is thinking I’ve forgotten something. But no, I haven’t.
Time to race tomorrow!
Yesterdays 11-miler playlist.
Yes. That’s Steel Panther in there.
I love you Sunday. It’s only 11:35 and I’ve already run 11.25 miles, showered, had Jamba Juice and am now sitting at my desk happy as a clam.
This week of running was pretty good if I could say that :D
Tomorrow’s 11 miler, brought to you by. Rain.
10 miler done this morning. No big.
(Actually it was rough. But I still did it so WHATEVER.)
